Ha, 8 hours gets you to the southern tip of Texas. It'd be more like 10 hours driving at 65 mph in the truck. I'm going to meet you Okie's sooner or later, though!

I havent looked at this thread in a while..... I wheel at Chandler Park all the time. They say it is private land but Im afraid there is more to chandler than that. Its an EPA superfund site. They dumped a ton of lead paint there back in the day. The schools in Berryhill have methane gas moniters on top of them. If a pocket of methane gas should burst from the ground it will settle in that town. The police dont really inforce the no trespassing. If you pull out in front of a sands springs officer and throw mud on him yea your getting a ticket. People keep dumping shit there before long it will be gated off. Its to bad because that place is awsome......... I was at the Big Meat Run in Disney It was the best offroad event I have ever been to. Disney is the best place to go...... I read about buzzard canyon Im gonna have to check that out.

I would also like to add that if you live in the Tulsa area and you want a quick place to go wheeling. 169 and 71st behind Lowes and Staples will blow your mind. I had no idea it was there. Watch out for the homless people though.
