lockright on the road?

I just put mine in a few days ago - haven't really noticed any great change in the way it drives. You can feel it lock and unlock but our roads are all covered in snow still. You will love the new found traction though - I sure liked it when we were wheelin' in the snow on Saturday.

i know you didnt have an LS i was just asking what the difference was, but i think after watching that vid i think i might get a lockright set up on my rear

I used to have an LS, same result as that exploder.

Be glad it's open, they don't make a lock-right for an LS 7.5, you'd have to swap in an open carrier to use it which is a good bit of work (been there done that). And since it doesn't snow there then don't worry about it at all :D

I believe they don't make a lock-rite, but the Powertrax No-Slip is availaible for a l/s carrier, if I remember correctly.

I'm still on the fence as to what to put in my Ranger. It sees pretty much nothing but street anymore and pulling off the pavement onto a jobsite or something. I'm tired of dealing with an open rear end, but I'm not fully convinced that a locker is right for me either. I've been thinking of a geared limited slip but...:icon_confused:

I could of sworn I was just looking at a Lock-Right for my 7.5 on Craigslist for $200. I'll have to recheck that information now though.

That You-Tube video is AWESOME!!!!

That is absolute proof of how superior a locker is in offroad situations. Thanks.

Yes lockrights are made for 7.5s, I have one, they arent made for the LS carriers, they make no-slips for open and LS 8.8s, but they dont make them at all for 7.5s.
