locking lug nuts

I'm gonna go with 4x4junkie. If some of you think that a McGard lock can be easily removed with some cheap HF tool, it's obvious that you don't own McGard Products. I own 16 of their lugnuts and 4 of their locks, these things are solid. I cannot imagine a tool that can grab a hardened McGard wheel lock.

We rip them off all the time at work for people who loose their keys for them. Its really not all that hard. As most security things they just stop the honest people unfortunately.

I get em off with one of these:

yup, that + a cordless impact + a butt-load of stupidity/greed will get you the best set of wheels in town.

I guess we shouldn't turn this into a 'how to steal my wheels thread' huh?

ok mcgard impossible to steal

by saying mcgard or any lock is hard to defeat is making my point which is still-few people steal just wheels/tires-MOST PEOPLE LOSE KEY at worst possible time-if cheap harbor freight tool or expensive blue point/snap-on/matco/mac doesn't work mr air chissel will do it EVERY TIME! and it ain't pretty-good luck:icon_thumby:
