locker problems


It's kool Danger, I don't remember having clearance issues with hitting the ring gear, I got both outer couplers in ( splined half ), and one side the inner coupler, but when I tried to put the other inner coupler in, it wasn't even close to going in, it overlapped the first inner coupler by like 1/4 inch...I might swap axles with my lowrider ranger (RANGERSVTTURBO for those that remember) since it is an exploder axle, but that is a lot of gear swaps again, one is 456 the other is 373...
Taking a poll, locate a dana 44 or 60 front and 80 rear to mod and install under the 4x4 :icon_hornsup:(and not wheel for about year til swap is done), or swap in the exploder for now and fix front??
 
Okay, I just went back into my diff today, and my carrier measures 2 and 3/4" from side to side, the locker without the pin installed measures 3 and 3/4"...is it possible that this locker is for a 9", or a fullsize 8.8 carrier?? Any ideas, anyone, anyone??:icon_confused:
