linkage difference???

it there a difference in the length of a 1354 shifter?? had a guy tell me he needs a linkage, but not the one off a fm 146 tranny. he says the one he needs is 3 inches longer?

the 1354 was never available behind the fm146. it only came behind the m5od or a4ld and uses the same linkage for both.
