i just bought the blazer driving light kit. just wondering what would be the best way to route the wiring to the cab and best place to mount the switch. in my 86 ranger

i drilled a hole or had a hole where some other wires went thu down by the gas petal and i zip tied them up out of the way looks good. there is some wires the go in front of the rad. in wire loom and i ran them thu there and around the washer fuild box. i mounted the switch on the very bottom of the dash on the metal part.

You should pick a relay up also...

stealth... thats what i was thinking. i picked up this cool "duck bill" toggle switch too that has a blue led. should look pretty sweet once i get it mounted. since itll match my interior.

and for the relay, it totally slipped my mind.. :p

If your truck is a manual, put it through the hole for the automatic shift cable, if it is auto, put it through the clutch rod hole. That way you don't have to drill any holes. Mines a manual so I put the wiring for my lights through the auto shift cable hole. Or was it the kick down cable hole. It was one of the two.
