well, if it has air ride, good luck. aside from the air ride the aviator is just an explorer with fancy trim and badges. that's all I can really tell you about it.
sorry its an 04 aviator awd it doesn't have the air ride on it which is a plus i think. we were looking more for a suspension lift instead of a body lift.
Yeah, that's just a stock 04 explorer suspension. Go look under explorers, but I don't know how much you'll find since its an independent rear, they don't lift as easily as solid rears.
Any of the companies specializing in lifting hummers should be able to direct you to lift kits for IFS explorers. Other wise a body lift generates clearance for wheels and tires and bigger tires means slightly more ground clearance.
Road Bully is the only kit available. For those who haven't seen one, the late-model Explorer and '07+ Sport Trac (me) have an independent rear suspension. The diff is a regular 8.8" bolted to the frame with a halfshaft out each side. The lifting issue is that the halfshafts go through a hole in the frame. Naturally this limits how high you can go with it before the halfshaft rubs the framerail.
