The lift gate on my bronco 2 wont close all the way on the left side the side with th light that thst makes the interior light come on i think a new latch would fix this how do i get the latch on the left side off?thanks

I was having the same problem with my bii. I just unplugged the sensor in the back, keeps the light from coming on. I also got some anti seize grease and it seems to be closing easier and easier every time...

Took off the push sensor and added a toggle switch on the interior so you can still turn the lights on

make sure the bushing is still on the striker also
