Lifted 4 Door Crew Cab Ranger Build

Hey have you looked into the door glass from say a 88 ranger or bronco that has a wing window? Idk if the width is right for you door dimensions but if it's worth it to use a stock window size you could make it fit.
Any progress???

I looked into doing 1st/2nd gen front windows, but the curve of the glass looked different. The newer trucks have a lot more curve.

The only progress I've made, is figuring out that 60's dodge door hinges might work for the rear doors, instead of ordering suicide hinges.

And he's another reason why I haven't gotten much done:
94 4.0l 5spd with a 4" lift. I bought it to flip for some money, but started realizing it's a pretty nice truck, so now I'm keeping it, and doing extra.
Gunmetal wheels/flares, new clutch, and the best part, a 2004+ nose swap!

Hopefully I'll be spraying it on Monday, and back together Tuesday.

I love the 06 ranger front clips, and with that particular grille, it has the super duty look. Ive got the same grille for my swap, ive got all the pieces except for the fenders to do the swap on my trac....

Don't Sport Tracs have different body lines, like a Ranger vs. Explorer? Or are you planning to splice the fenders?

They do, where the ranger has an indention in the fender, the sport tracs are protruding. I plan to either cut out the protruding body line and weld it into the ranger fender. I want to use the ranger fender to get rid of the trac's flare, as well as the front section of the fender. I already did an 03 ranger front clip on my trac, by grafting just the front section of the ranger fender on the trac fender. It doesnt line up at all. Eventually I'll be pulling the trac bed for a ranger bed, so the fender flare swap makes more sense...

Here is a shot showing the two grafted together. If you look closely, you can see the body line, which ends on the second door...

Ok, gotcha. I didn't realize they had a body line like that.
Regular explorers are just smooth right there, right?

The black Ranger's 2010 nose swap is done. I did new taillight a too

And this past weekend, I also got some new tires for my wheeler Ranger. 35" Pitbull Rockers. They can't have much more than 6 or 700 miles on them.

Im pretty sure they have the same lines. Truck looks great, get some 06+ mirrors to finish out the look...

SVT

I'll get some mirrors if I find a deal, but I'm probably not going to go out my way for them yet.

I also got an Explorer center console (full length one) and grey 99 Explorer dual power leather seats!

That black ranger with the clip swap looks great! Love the newer clips. Check mine out sometime I did something similar.

Can't wait to see more of the four door...

No updates on the 4 door. It's still in the garage, and not forgotten about though!! With how I'm building the black Ranger, I'm starting to lean towards sticking the 4 door body on my wheeler when I finish it.

I got my beadlocks and new tires on my wheeler

The black Ranger is getting a 5.0l, disc brake 8.8, 95+ dash, and power windows/ locks.
I'm pulling the body tomorrow, to pull the motor and tranny, so I can rebuild the tranny. It lost 3rd/4th.

I just started a new thread for the black Ranger. I'll have to see if I have a thread already for my wheeler.
