Just wondering if anyone has thought about putting the roof lights off one of those heep libertys on to their ranger. Ive only thought about it never measured anything. I think the curve of the roof might be different. How do you think it would look? Any opinions are good ones let me know what you think.

I really like the way those look on the Liberties, very cool. I was just admiring one the other day, and was thinking how well it flowed with the body lines and shape of the liberty.

I'm just not sure how it would look on the Ranger, even if they measured up right. Might look like a princess crown on our trucks.....I'm kind of thinking a roll bar is the only place to mount lights up high on a truck.

I think the liberty roof is wider a bit at the top and my require a good deal of fabbing to make it fit. As far as the roof curve, the bar isn't totally rigid so you would likely be able to flex it enough.

Has anyone seen em around their local JY I looked didnt see any when I was there and a OEM one is like $500 and I dont even know how it will look on the truck. Anyone know of a good JY around Jacksonville NC?

Good luck. The light bar only came on the Renegade and frankly Jeeps hold value pretty well so the chances of a totaled one that hasn't been on the roof is very low.

Yeah, my mom owns a liberty thats almost the top-of-the-line (has the tow package and power everything) and totally lacks the lights. I wanted to get a measurement, but can't. If someone is super-interested, I could measure the truck without the light bar to get an idea of how wide they are, but I dont live with my mom, so I can't say when it would happen...

Seems like the sort of thing that is not exactly a common find in the wrecker. I could see Liberty owners being all over that, like a fly on shit, wanting to put them onto their non-renegade liberty's...

Now that Surrey mentions the measuring, my liberty isn't off winter duty yet so I can measure if needed.

Could you I dont have access to one and like everyone has said the JY really is'nt a option. That way I could at least know if its wide enough or even possible.
