Let's see what's out there....

Thanks Colin - I am still deciding if I want to stripe it or not like the 70's Boss Mustang???

What about striping the rockers with the word 'Ranger' in the middle of the stripe(s) near the front of the door? I could cut some out of black vinyl.

Basically laying frame is what it is. The frame lays on the ground. Backhalfing is cutting the frame off behind the cab and rebuilding it from scratch.

Body droping can be a few differnt things. But in general its choping the body at the floor and lowering the body to the same level and in some cases lower than the frame and filling in the voids with sheetmetal. Thus layin the down to the pinch which is the body seam under the door where the body panels were welded from the assembly plant.

I hope this answers you confusion colin.

Haha, thanks dude! All I understood was the laying frame thing.

I don't really like dropped sportscars and ricers and stuff, but the Rangers on here look SWEET.

some good looking trucks here. hopefully mine will join the bagged ranks once i get back to the US. depends on if suicide doors ever gets their shipping shit working so I can order crap.

Not bad . . . I will have to do it up in Photoshop to see if I like it for sure - Could you PM me a quote to do the stripe in between the wheel wells.

Thanks for the suggestion . . .:icon_thumby:

Ok - I did a quick PS with a Rocker Stripe - what do you guys think? I like it - not doing back flips but I like it . . .

Graphics Shop Smaphics Shop :woot: - See if Jim Oaks can help ya - send him a PM and tell him what ya need - I am sure it will be cheaper. I can help ya with the design for some simple Rep Power - LOL and then send it to Jim for cutting. Just a thought.
And thanks

What if you moved it up above the rocker panel? Would stand out more and you wouldn't "loose" the bottom edge of the truck against the ground.

James

Yeah I noticed that also, so maybe move it up a few inches leaving a small white strip under the black one. I'll have to adjust it some . . . BRB

Ok - Here we are - two more versions . . .

Just off the bottom:

And aligned with the bottom of the door:

So which one do you all like?

I am partial to the one at the bottom of the door.
