thats not a full load:thefinger: not even close...owned over 400 foot of ladder and pic, and many times hauled it all to cinci a few times a week from detroit....

this is considered empty

did not always run a rack, as the roofs fawked up from rolling it many many years before these pics were made anyway....but the rack allowed me to take 5-10 square of shingles along with ladders etc when the occasion calls. raks just rock for hauling lineal anything imo....if you regularly haul lineal anything with a pickup you would have to be an idiot not to use one imo.:dunno:

those pics were just on a whim as i was using the camera for work purposes and took some footage just because.

looking back at it now, i think this is a neat topic.

my current bed designs have racks to haul ladders, boats, tube...whatever as part of the design from the get go.

racks and trucks go hand and hand imo....if its working and little, it probably has a cap, a rack or a cap rack on it:D

good racks pop off in 3 min or less.....so you can play slinky and break shit too....i bet oaks remembers that day

New York trip. Drove the Ranger from OKC, OK to New York and then back again. All while hauling my dualsport, a tool box, clothes, and gear.
