kinda dissapointed in my edge

well kinda disapoinated in my 02 edge. got a 2002 super cab with 4.10s in it but its open diffs. kinda thot most 8.8s were l/s. guess not.

most rangers have open diffs, they are cheap trucks and people don't want to pan out the extra $50 to get a LS...

explorers on the other hand, about half have limited slip diffs in the back...

Atleast you have the 8.8 and its a strong axle and its good for building a rigg and plus you got 4.10 gears shit i would take the 4.10 gears before the l\s and be thankful you don't have the 7.5 axle..

I think that just finding an Edge with the 4.0 and ext cab (four door?) is rare. Easy to throw lunch-box locker in there and solve your problem.

I saw a ranger going up an icy hill the other day with open diffs. Both his right wheels were spinning like mad, but his left wheels were getting almost no power at all. I LOLed a little bit and passed him with my trak loc 8.8 with 4.10's while in in 2wd

yea its 4 door my 96 has l/s but its 3.73s otherwise i woulda already switched it out.
