Here's some not very typical Ranger pics of me autocrossing. I was between cars and didnt want to borrow one.

Oh yeah, it was harder on the front tires then it looks... they were taking a harsh beating.

This 1st pic may be more beneficial as you can see the cones better, getting a grasp that the truck is autocrossing.

This is my favorite... this is how I like to see the front suspension articulate. That right front was SCREAMING HEHEHE

dang, i'm surprised you didn't rip that front tire off the rim

how'd you do?

Horribly. Having an open diff made all exits under power a lesson in patience and throttle pedalling. If the body motion would have been more stable, the inside tire wouldn't have spun soooo much. The time average was 52 seconds for the field, I ran a 64 with the ranger... And I'd like to think I'm a better than average driver. Hehe.

Would I run her again? Sure I would. I quickly classed her in H stock and hoped for the best. To make her more safe would require a much lower profile tire and a HUGE front sway bar. However, this is my daily driver and I probably won't be subjecting her to these beatings very often. As she is just a stock 3.0, she isn't very fast at all, but it's tons better than watching.

low pro's and some stifffffff bushings would help you a lot for that..

and a 3/4 lowering kit :P

now get to work Ric!!

haha wow that third pic is great! are they the stock tires too?

Addco makes a 1.5" front bar that some of the Sport Trac guys like. Maybe they have something for Rangers.
Some Rangers came with OE rear bars, some didn't.

Now just photoshop in some chicks and we've got June covered.

HAHA, good try
(I am sure that's an illegal use of the picture, Expect a phone call from her lawyer) LOL

haha those pix remind me of when I was learning my manuverability...just ask Jspafford lmao :op

I'm racing it again on Sunday. I've installed my 94 GT wheels w/ 245/45/17's. Should be better. Maybe I'll grab some pics with a Honey on her afterwards.

That should make a helluva difference. those stock steel wheels flex like a bastard. I had the same set on my 05. When I switched to a set of aluminum wheels, it was like driving a different truck.
