kick out

happens all the time with my truck. it has the optional heavy duty suspension so the back end catches a little air when i hit a bump on the highway

A set of quad shocks from one of the gt mustangs really helps this out if you can find a way to mount them, also tire pressure can help. Try going with about 2-3 lbs lower than factory recomendations. (Not tire manufacturer recommendations)

That's actually what happened to my Zuki...I took it in to get some work done and a kid pumped all my tires up to 35PSI without telling me...I noticed that it was way rougher on bumps and I finally ended up checking the tire pressure...then dropped them all to recommended pressure...makes a big difference...

My X cab ranger did the same thing, and it weighs more than a regular cab. I just replaced the shocks and at the same time checked all the tires for proper pressure. That made a world of difference.

Thers nothing like that feeling when you're hitting the off ramp at 70mph (it's rated at 35) and hit a ripple and the ass end tries to pass you. Do that a couple times a week. It's a lot worse since I took the winter weight out of the bed. One of these days I learn to slow down a little.

What PSI and tires do you have on your Zuki?

I run 35psi up front and 32 in the rear of my 31x1050 BFGs. Thats what the shop told me when I got my first set and they wore very even so I have never changed anything.

As for the hopping thing, my truck does it especially if I am turning onto an onramp while on the brakes. There a some good bumps right before you make that turn on the clover that kicks my truck out a couple inches. But Im ready for it! :icon_thumby:

Well, first off it is a 95 Sidekick so it won't go bigger that 235s without a body lift...and that is cutting things pretty close...but I currently run 205s front and rear and the manufacturer recommended is 32 PSI (or maybe it's 28...can't remember)...
