KBB can't help. What should be asking price for 1988 Ford Ranger XLT?

i sold one just like it about 6 months ago for $800. price for these trucks has gone up a little, either because of cash for clunkers or because they aren't made anymore, but they didnt go up that much!

Years ago I looked it up and one in perfect condition was estimate at $1500 by KBB.

I paid $500 for my 88 extended cab about five years ago...but I spent about $2,000 on upgrades and another $1,000 to clean the frame and undercoat it and the bottom of the cab...

So...unless this is in mint condition...I'd say look somewhere else...
