Where on river road is that car ? It's on La 18 right? If you really want to see a sorry sight, there's a guy over here in Lawtell that's got more than a dozen sitting in the woods behind his house. Say's he's going to "restore" em all one day.:icon_confused: :dunno: The only one he's got that's worth any kind of money is sittting in his barn. 67 GT390 4 speed fastback He paid $1500 for it. It was in running condition, partially restored, but that was 15 years ago. I'm sure it's chock full of barn "critters" now.:damnit1:

why it be..........:bawling:.........that we Luuuusiana people....:icon_twisted:.....gotta store good stuff.............:bawling:..........in the woods.....:annoyed::annoyed::annoyed:

I postd the Mustang paperwork in the TailGate Forum---Wut Wood You do with Her?

I'd look long and hard at what's there that's salvageable before moving it. It's definately not restorable. I bought one like it several years ago in Houma. 'cept it wasn't sitting in the woods, but it was well rusted. The trunk floor gave out on the way home with it on a trailer. Parts were dropping all along Hwy 90. I stripped anything salvageable from it when I got it home, then cut it up what was left for scrrap. Paid $350 for it. Sold the Toploader 4 speed for $300, Kept the aluminum slot wheels. Just sold the 10's that were on the back for $200.(had those on the Ranger for years since) The fronts went for about $150. The clutch pedal set went for about that much too.

tin-4......I'm not even sure he'll sell it....you know....the Mustang's been put out to pasture....I'll keep all the options open...I just hate to think the engine would still rotate but it's just gonna sit....it's got a great looking dash set-up...even with a layer of mold...maybe we could move it outta the tree line.....if it doesn't pull apart...we'd go from there & head to the car-wash.....I'll talk to him...but it IS his car.....

Slap my face.........FOCUS.......I'd better get out there & finish wrapping the ignition wires on the '36 Ranger.....I don't mind pushing the switch mechanism with a screwdriver, but I've got enuff miles on it to know the wiring is right & ready to get tucked away.....

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh........V.A. drugs & depression......what a team...if i can just keep the Ranger outta the Old Vet's Home...it'll get completred...completed.

I watched "Swamp People" last night.:icon_thumby: When you go back out there, make sure "Big Head" :icon_confused:isn't there waiting for you.:shok: One of the guys (Troy Landry from Pierre Part) caught a 13 footer. And that one wasn't "Big Head" . I got news for him; he's huntin for "Big Head" in the wrong state. "Big Head" lives under I-10 in Mobile Bay. He's a 15 footer if he's an inch. :icon_hornsup:

We did check with you!about what? That's when you got distracted and stopped working, so we decided we can't distract you by checking with you anymore!makes sense to me....why did I get distracted...I caint remember....WAIT!....don't answer that! it'll distract me.....
.

O.K.......I'm in the toolbox again.....(It was a long month....took a while to get past being extra sad bout my Son)

So.....I started tweeking.....naaaa....that's what one does to photos....so, I took the tin snips & cut-off wheel and did some adjusting......

I had to cut the bottom shock bracket 1/2 " & move it closer to the frame 1/2" to keep the tire wall from rubbing on it during right turns.....(I put adjustible air shocks on all 4 wheels & added gas shocks to the front wheels to keep the front end from floating down the Louisiana Interstates...b-a-a-d roads)

Annnnd....when I made a left turn while giving it some throttle.....the radiator fan rat-a-tatted on the metal fan shroud.....didn't bother me but it scared my wife and anybody within 50 feet of the truck in town started ducking...so....I snipped the edges of the fan blades 3/8" off the end of each blade......problem solved.....
