Hey Gunner,
When you get that thing running well (and the wheels in the right place). Stop by and whe'll take it out for a quick ride. It only about 1200 miles. Just follow the river north.

Rver...rivre....river.....north....i can do dat.....1200 mi. / 120 mph = 10 hrs. + food&peepee break = 10 hrs 10 minutes...

FLASHBACK...WARSTORY...'NAM......1972..... that was the highest complement a helicopter crewmember could receive......Not being called by your last name, But being called Gunner or DoorGunner....(it meant you had killed over 100 men & the pilots trusted you with their lives in the worst situation)........no brag/just facts......

:icon_surprised:

O.K...........up-date......that Minor problem of getting the wheels centered in the wheel wells took 4 hours to finish (should have taken 2 hrs., but meds slow me down).....

No pics of the adjustment......just imagine removing all the body parts except the cab in order to move the cab rearward 1.25 inches........and then putting everything back on......

I just had a thought.....I'll be able to dis-asemble & re-assemble this project from the chassis-up in about 2 hrs. by the time it's finished........:icon_surprised:

I have more photos but they are restricted to training purposes - such as cockpit photos, access panels, shut-down sequences and etc. Also been on the AH1, UH1, MH53, UH60, MH60, and the CH46 for training and rescue principles.
