More good news! The video of Testing the SBC Engine and 700R4 transmission that's been missing for 7 years has been found on an old CD. I posted the video on page #6 and a couple other places throughout the thread.

Here is a pre-flood pic of the Streetrod and my fabricated Harley Davidson.
I installed a 1,000 lb. winch on the front bed-wall to pull the Harley up the ramp.
I raised the tailgate until it was level and took the Harley to the beach in Biloxi.
Later I added the adjustable air shocks to level the bed for future trips.

Talk about folks slowing down on the Interstate to get a good look.......

About 6 months after I had to leave the TRS Forum this happened to our neighborhood. This is a friends house...the water was too deep to go any further.
By the second day floodwater was up to the door handle.
The 3rd day it was 5 feet deep.

The good news is...we sold our house 5 months before the flood and moved to another city.

After we built the two=story house we ended up selling it to take care of my wife's parents in a different city.
Her parents needed 24/7/365 care. They both died several months apart about a year later.

Neither of us could handle the losses.

I was so sad and worn out that I ended up making a BAD DECISION------I got Just Plain Stupied....

I sold the '89 Streetrod....It had 245,000+ miles on it

I've missed it every day since.

About 4 months ago my wife and I were driving along a curvy country road one afternoon when my Streetrod came flying around the curve from the opposite direction. By the time I found a safe place to turn around to chase down the truck it was LONG GONE! It still shined like a candy apple.


To quote another TRS Member........................................................

RULE #1...Never sell something that's PAID FOR.
RULE #2...Always tell friends before you sell something SO THEY CAN STOP YOU

Maybe we'll win the Lottery and I can track the guy down and buy it back

It's that time of year again...getting seriously teary-eyed about my son Blake....

Here is the short version :

According the "the rules of our new President, Blake's killer has been removed from Border Patrol's Most Wanted", decriminalized and probably will become a U.S. Citizen with a clean rap sheet in the next 2 years.

I'm hoping to NOT take a mental plunge in the next 2 months....but who knows?

I got 4 more years to go.

UPDATE: TODAY NOVEMBER 18th IS THE DAY i HAVE DREADED FOR THE LAST 364 DAYS............
