UPDATE: All the mods that I kept putting-off, are now "on hold" .......

my Son-in-law has a serious medical problem, so I'm spending time at the hospital.

My son-in-law is doing a little better. If I get the time I'll try to install the heated O2 sensor in the passengers side header so I can get that Holley 600cfm fine-tuned....it's still sooting up the tailpipes--only not as much as before the carb mod.

I used a vacuum gauge to reset the carb after I bolted it back on...the truck runs like a scalded hyenna now (like they said--there's a slight bog if its floored...but I don't need to floor it with all 4 barrels working together!)

Well....it's getting 18mpg locally...but I havent made a long trip in it yet to check highway mpg...I really want to tune the carb using the o2 sensor in case it's running too lean at highway speed....
