time to drag this thread outta the dinosaur bones again.....
the 700R4 does a pretty good job, considering it's 4 years older than you (waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa)....
but since it was slipping a little going into 3rd, I installled a 300psi xmsn dash gauge.......the pressure is O.K. in Park & reverse, but is half of what it should be in the forward gears....I gotta drop the pan & put the original wiring back the way it was since I bought all the stuff I needed to make it shift as though the computer was still connected......( I previously re-wired it to go into overdrive in 4th gear only, but cruising along the Gulf Coast highway at 40mph keeps the engine at 3,000 rpm.....something I don't want with duals & Harley gutted mufflers 7 feet behind the cab, and only a 16 gallon gas tank!
