Just got a 89 B2 with alittle prob

My father inlaw just gave me his 89 bronco II he wanted to get rid of, but it has two problems first radiator has a hole (fixed just ordered a new one) and the transmission will not shift into over drive he had the trans rebuilt a couple years ago drove it for a while then it sat, until recently and thats when the trouble started. Its a eddie bauer 4wd automatic does anyone have any idea what this could be or where to begin looking?
