Just curious and new to everything Ford related

I had wondered if a mustang trans would but looked like pole locations wouldn't match up

The shifter.

Our M5OD transmissions are top-loaders and sit pretty far back in the truck. The Tremec and Getrag transmissions used in the Mustangs have shift rails that run in from the rear of the trans, and the SN194 Mustang has a deep dash compared to the Ranger of similar vintage, meaning the trans sits farther forward in the vehicle.

If you would put a 4.6L and a T45 or a Getrag 6-speed from an SN194 into a super cab Ranger and not do something to shift things forward the shifter will sit between the front seats.

If you put that setup in your truck the shifter might not even be inside the cab.

I was stuck between that or the driveshaft.

The T45 probably ends up about where the 4wd levers are on my M5ODR2. MT82... is pretty weird.

The MT82 is what you get when the people who design the cars finally realize that the people who work on the cars are the same people who shoved the designers into lockers in high school.

Take note of the black elbow fitting there on the bell. That is the line connection for the slave. There is no check valve in the slave or the line, it's a slip-in fitting held in place by a butterfly pin, almost identical to the setup used on the FM145.

Oh, and that slave has no bleeder.

Okay guys change of plans the Vic is being derbied I came across a 2.3 turbo coupe at the local bone yard so just gonna take the simple Rd and turbo the ranger
