just bought a muffler

i just bought a cherry bomb extreme muffler. what can i expect as far as sound goes? is it going to sound like crap or is it going to sound good? what kind of interior noise can i expect? any help will be appreciated.

I too have a Cherry Bomb Extreme Muffler. And as far as you can expect, anything you put this lil beast on will be loud, also depending on what motor you have, it'll sound throaty or raspy. I have one on my 97 2.3 4-banger, and with piping going all the way out the back, it sounds pretty decent, I like it. As for interior noise, all I can say is, the further back the muffler is, the quieter it will be in the cab, and where the tailpipe exits. Because if you just dump it under the vehicle, it'll be terribly loud inside the cab, but I love this muffler and hopefully you'll post a sound clip soon!!!

yeah ive get the 4.0. im guessing it wont be too raspy. i will try to post a sound clip when i get it on.

Yea, should sound decent on a 4.0, deep n throaty let us know how it sounds
