its when you suck enough liquid into your engine through the intake to make it lock up... Water doesn't compress very well
(if at all) so it causes damage... usually you can just replace the rod, rings, and bearing and get away with it, but sometimes the crank will need to be replaced.

I have heard of cases where the whole engine gets screwed up tho.

but as with anything if you build it up (and maintain it) it can slow any damage. my truck sees everything from snow abve the headlights to mud and water again over the headlights to rocks. and i just made sure all my diffs are vented up to the dash my ecu is in the glove box. i run a snorkel and i usually have to check my truck over real good every 6 months or so. but its always a good idea at the end of the day to regrease all your ball joints u joints. pretty much anything you can. then regrease your wheelbearings. its kinda a pita but well worth it as i see. especially cause the truck never sees street time so i dont worry about it as much as i should

The place used to be beautiful back in the 80's and 90's. I went out ther 5 years ago to visit a friend and the place looked like crap with all the people driving all over the place...too bad.

Nice! I was at Moon Rocks this past Sat with some buddies. Awesome terrain, you can go hella fast on endless roads or do some slow crawlin if you want.
