I guess this is the right place for these ?s I wondering when someone places a post why they sometimes place one that say just "BUMP". Iam also wonder with Rep Power is and what iTrader both stand for.

Bump

When a thread is posted it starts at the top of the forum. Every time a new thread is posted the older threads get pushed down on the list, and after a while they will end up on the next page. However, every time a thread is replied to it will get "bumped" back to the top. People "bump" their threads back to the top so that they don't fade off into oblivion...Hope that helps.

From what I know, "Bumps" are basically to bump it to a recent post sorta thing.

Theres a thred somewhere where Jim and the admin explained the Rep Power.

well the itrader is kinda like the feedback on ebay, it lets buyers and sellers know what kind of person they are dealing with. its good to have good comments in your itrader rating.

and rep power i am not sure but i will take a wild stab, if you have properly represented trs and recruited another member and they named you when filling out their profile then you get a rep power of 1. if you recruit 2 people then you get a rep power of 2. that is just a wild stab, some one let me know if i was right please?

No, rep power is what you get if something thinks the information you give is valuable. So if you have a higher rep power, it means you have a high reputation, AKA you're smart. Or at least people can think so. Its kinda like feedback, but on the info you give.

Yeah you can see it on under 'User CP' at the top left.

I looked for it in the user Cp and was unable to find it. What subsection is it under in the user Cp.

I don't know about any subsections... It just shows mine right there when I click on User CP. There's 'subscribed threads' (of which i have 0) and under that 'latest reputation received'.

how does the rep number increase though? how is that regulated? post count?

you get another rep when you reach 500 posts, or I don't know if a normal member can but I can raise rep power...
