What, the winch ain't mounted yet?? :D Can you post some side shots when you get it mounted??
SVT

alright, the winch is mounted, but the bumper is too close to the grille, and it is wedged in there. i have to pull the bumper out a little more to get everything to fit. Good thing i didn't mount my chrome grille or get it painted yet.... Here is a picture...

For Christmas eve, the GF, the little one, and me took D out for long drive through the back roads of San Diego. We made it to Corral Canyon, and i couldn't help myself, i had to go play. Found out the driveshaft is hitting something once it is all flexed out, so that is what i have to fix before next weekend. Here are the pictures of yesterday. BTW, Merry Christmas to everyone!!!

where do you put the kid when youre wheelin? i spotted the stroller in the bed, but im wondering how or where im going to fit a car seat into my ranger? i think i might just need to look at this from a different angle, now i can tell the GF that i HAVE to buy a BII so ill have a rig to put a car seat in! sweet rig BTW, the before and after pics are almost unbelievable.

When we built the battery box, we added hard mounts under the rumble seat on the passenger side. Her car seat has the straps, so we run the straps under the rumble seat, attach them to the mounts we made, then i have the seatbelt fastened too. Her car seat is pretty much immovable right now.

She is still too small to go wheeling, thats why we only stayed on the main trail and didnt do any type of rock crawling (the only rock i climbed up, she was out of the truck). My GF held her with the seatbelt on, and she was holding her neck to keep her from bouncing her head around.

I am going to built a roll cage inside the cab and do this for her :headbang:

Went out to Carrol Canyon OHV park on New Years Eve for the day, and what a trip. The Ranger did fantastic. The rear didn't flex as well as i would have liked it to, so that means i need to take the Overload spring out and add my shackle. The Front did fantastic. Here are some pictures from the day

Is it me, or does it look like you need to move your front axle forward a few inches :icon_confused:
SVT

na, its perfect for me SVT. Thanks for the comment Benny

When you flex, it looks like it's all the way up into your rocker/firewall...
SVT

the axle moves along a curve. the farther down it goes, the closer to the cab it becomes, the higher it goes, the further out the axle moves. The ballistic joints act as the axis.
