Josh40601's Build Thread. (D-ranged)

oh man, everyone that wheeled with me before and after are blown away. They all say it was the best mod i could have ever done to the truck. I agree with them. The kit is amazingly well engineered, but just be ready to wait. and call. and wait. and call. and wait. and call again. At least he isn't Ballistic though... You will actually receive the stuff you bought :icon_rofl:

Locker is in the front, everything is pretty much ready to go. Need to double check all my fluid levels and install my 9" pinion protector and grease all the joints.

Popping U joints in 5.....4.....3.....

i hoping the minimal use of throttle will keep them together... Hoping...

I did order a new wheel for my spare. Its the style i will be going to once i get back home... I don't care if you don't like them :thefinger:

you're kidding right?

there is a Jeep here with those on it....have to say for a Mall Crawler they will look good:icon_thumby::icon_thumby:

Yea, i don't think they look good online or in a book, but i seen them on a lifted suburban, and they were sharp as hell. Still haven't decided what color this ol gal is going to, but if i can get the paint on a deal, it will be the same color i am painting the Harley and C10. Toxic Orange Pearl

my truck is going to be a street queen after the trip next weekend. no rocks, no mud. Lockers and doubler are coming back out. I have the Explorer to take out and beat the piss out of

no. It won't even be a mall crawler. Mall crawler still go offroad. The furthest offroad it will go is down a dirt road or sitting in my yard. Just a lifted 4wd ranger.... I'm even thinking about glassing the flares in and body color matching them.

Why not leave it a reliable back-up wheeler? Clean it up some and leave all the good bits in it....

don't want to drive it on the roads with the detroit in it. If i had an ARB in the rear, I would leave it there.

Plus i know how i am... If I keep it wheelable, I'll destroy it again.

Something to do with Confidence Syrup or something like that :D
