Jeep Liberty? Any thoughts?

Hmm...well, I've always been fond of Jeeps, but I got a soft spot for Ford trucks too, so it looks like I have some more reading to do...appreciate all the info, though, helps a lot.

I did an engine swap on one recently. It had 196K and low oil pressure. The vehicle looked like it was in good shape, but drove horribly- front end was all loose and stuff... they claimed it got 13 MPG and its a 2WD, suck city. I agree with above poster, steer her towards an escape, very good trucks.

Had a friend who had one. Nothing but problems. Traded in immediately, probably six months. Check out an Escape or something else.
