I came across some james duff radius arms at a sale on craigslist but the guy didn't have the crossmember. should i just fab up my own or will it only work with the james duff crossmember

You should be able to fab up a cross member for just about any set of radius arms. The design of it will mostly be dictated by the arm's length, and whether they have a standard donut-style bushing, or an eye bushing or heim joint (JD's arms have used both donut bushings and heims).

it has donuts. all i really have to do is just take a piece of tubing and weld it to a bracket that'll bolt into the radius arm mounts right?

The length of those arms will put the brackets right about where your transmission crossmember is, so it would probably be easiest to incorporate the transmission mount into your radius arm bracket design (which is how the JD one was made).

Yes, a short piece of thickwalled tubing with a 1-5/8" I.D. should work fine for the bushings.

cool thanks man big help

I have the old style crossmember and bushings. I don't need them. PM if interested.
