Remind me again; how much horsepower do you have now Dave?
I'm a long way from abandoning my pushrod 302, but this is where I'd like to be someday. I can't imagine this type of power in mine.
I think this is only the tip of the iceberg for this motor. I see even bigger things happening with this.
A stock '11 GT is rated 412 hp @ 6500 rpm, 390 lb·ft @ 4250 rpm. Right about where a pushrod 5.0 starts have a problem splitting factory blocks. And it would take a pretty trick 400hp PR 5.0 to still get mid 20's on the highway. Bro's '11's personal best is 26mpg hwy at 60mph and 24mpg on the interstate running 80mph... with 3.73 cogs.
But doing a swap in that new of a vehicle with that new of an engine just isn't fair. Not dealing with falling mud, rust, grease, previous owner hacks and componant incompatability would just take all the fun and excitement out of it.
