Hey.....anybody know what I turned off by accident....my smilies won't move any more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
can anyone point me in the right direction for some wiring diagrams? i have a 91 crown vic and a 91 ranger 4.0 harness spliced together somehow? i dont have a clue. the guy i bought the sh*t from ripped me off im pretty sure. i have alot of plugs left that dont plug into anything else... any help will be greatly appreciated i cant wait to hear it fire up
The plugs from the vic won't plug into the stock Ranger stuff, and the 4.0L plugs probably won't plug into your '87 (but it might make things easier). This is why you'll need the EVTMs, so that you can cut the plugs off of your Ranger harness and splice them into the '91 harness and know which wire needs to go where.
The best manual I can get my hands on is a 1987 Grand Marquis, but I don't think it will be close. Usually can find them cheap on Ebay. I checked on the allen county public library web site but I didn't bring up anything useful in their catalog. They might have something, but I haven't been to the library since the cards were gray ('90s). I am fimiliar with some of the circuits, but like I said, not sure if I'd be much help with out the manual. Just not well verse with the wiring from that car. I also get extremely lazy once the cold hits, not sure how in the hell you can deal with working on that in the cold. LOL I am a wuss, I have a 125K BTU salamander to get things warmed up, then a natural gas down draft furnace to maintain it in 2 car garage.
