from a distance. it's got an awesome stance to it.

Easily roll into the throttle and peg 25 psi on the boost gauge.

I just wanna go fast [emoji48]

front axle

It's a dana 35 ttb with d44 ttb knuckles that I removed the caliper brackets and bolted on 3/4 ton chevy spindles and brakes and the rest.

Wow...looks like something out of a spaceship...do you have any shots from under the hood or is it classified???

video of it running

I took a video of it running right after I got the motor back in it. It on youtube just search powerstroke ranger finally running. It shows the motor a little. But I do have to take some more pics of it complete.

been waiting patiently.....

i remember when you were wondering about the spindles for the match up....

then i lol when i seen why... i got pretty close to putting my psd into my truck, but i am not willing to go that heavy yet. but the duramax otoh....

That dmax is a sweet motor, I actually passed on a 6.0 for the same price.

since my firewall is toast the powerstroke is a possibility, but it needs rebuilding...i cant do that right for under 3 grand....been finding 2-300 k good running d max takeouts for 2800-3500 bux with Allisons on them....

so...its a tough deal.

my 6.5 lasted a long ass time and i am running a conglomerate of military take out engines made into one running unit at the moment:icon_rofl:...

but i run black in majority of the time...so a mechanical d max will be necessary....where the psd will gobble up 20-35 percent wmo fair enough..of the electronic diesels i think the gen 1 7.3 has to be the most reliable engine ever installed in a pickup truck.

..the 6.2 clatters along well enough and i can rebuild and pop the injectors for 60-90 bux.....all of them. so i tolerate it pretty easily still.

but your learning curve with this hitting the road will be something i always look forward to.

thank you for updating us here.:icon_thumby::icon_thumby:

oh yeah.....get those filters up in the gunwhales of the bed mang! at least above the rear spring hangers.

i cant get wmo through my 2 micron cat filters...so i went to h/e purolators...

Learning curve that's for sure this past weekend I brought the beast in for an inspection and got a nice long list of stuff to go fix. One of which was the oil pan leaking so out went the transmission and flexplate. I'm now running the moroso gasket we will see after all is put back together.
