It has begun! (Official Trucks! TV 4.6L Mazda B-Series / Ford Ranger build)

Man the truck looks great! I love the new wheels and tires. 335s on a Ranger?!? That is Kick Ass.

For some reason my friggin DVR keeps screwing up and I missed part 11. I really love what you're doing with the truck though, its gonna be sweet.

saw the new episode, kinda getting lost in the build, i thought this was just gonna be a V8 swap into a RBV, not a complete ground up build

They did do that, it was the first part of the build, now they're pretty much making a race truck out of it lol.

I love the stance of the rear tires. I wasn't a huge fan of the brake cooling vents on the bed, but i think once they finish all the body work and get it painted, it will look great

^^ speaking of the cooling vents, how do you plan on getting paint in there Kevin?

Thread resurrection for the win haha was this ever finished

^ Pretty sure it was sold to the younger host. Not Kevin, the other guy that isn't there anymore either

It was, and then it ended up on Ebay. I found the old auction listing showing a high bid of 18k that didn't meet the reserve:

Looks like Ryan from Trucks! got into business with his brother. If you want info on the truck, maybe he'd be willing to talk: http://streettrailandtrack.com/Contact_Us.html

Anyone know if the load capacity of the bed with the cobra IRS in there is compromised?

The IRS won't handle nearly as much weight. It has softer springs and a different intended function. If you haul or tow a lot of weight, then an IRS isn't a good idea, but a Ranger may not be a good idea then either.
