One of my shackle mounts rotted off the other day, I found a replacement, removed the broken one, and now I can't figure out what I need to do to put it on right. Here's a pic of what I took off

You need a new leaf spring, shackle, frame mount, (4) 1/2 x 1 1/4 grade 8 bolts, washer and lock nuts, (2) 3/4 grade 8 x 4 bolts washers and lock nuts(not 100% on that size might be 5/8 x 4, they are metric equivalent).

Next time to avoid replacing the leafs, melt the shit out of the bushing and beat the bolt out with a BFH. Saves you the time of having to then beat the bolt out of the front leaf mount. Just replace the bushing.

You need to finish removing the rest of teh old shackel bracket. you'll need an angle grinder to ground off the rivet heads if it is on the the passenger side and a wrench and a rachet for the drivers side. after you remve the old bolts or rivets your have to pry off the bracket with a pry bar or a really big screw driver. then sand down the frame. then proceed to bolt on the new parts. i just had both of mine rot out on me about 3 months ago. cutting the leaf spring wasnt required by any means to replace it. Burning out the old bushing then beating on the bolt with a hammer would have sufficed just fine. So i dont know about that replacement i would assume that you would just have to beat the bolt mounting the the leaf spring to the front hanger. but youll have a hard time because the gas tank is in the way of the nut.
