Is this stuff worth saving?

I am trying to build up parts for my trucks as some parts are just not available anymore except from a parts truck. If you have a place to store them and plan on keeping your truck for a while it worth it but storage can be an issue.

I am using the condenser fans from a C230 Kompressor as the primary engine cooling fans in my truck. They move tons of air and are seemingly built to fit in a Ranger's radiator opening. They straddle the front brace and have enough room to fit a A/C condenser between them and the radiator.

What year? A quick Google search doesn't show anything like the part you have pictured. Is that 2 separate fans you've put together?

They are bolted together from the factory. I did some trading with petroleumjunky for them like 6 years ago.

I thought 2002 and I found this for a 02

Edit: I see now. You aren't using the part their bolted to in the car. Just the fans individually...

Seeing them used with a clutch fan on the car, it's surprising that they cool your truck.

Not bad priced. Dorman even makes them: 620-920 & 620-921
Edit 2: 620-921 is cheaper on Amazon and comes with longer wiring...

Edit 3: Something seems to have gotten crossed somewhere. Those part numbers are for 1999-2000. 850 CFM each tho.

What kind of adapter did you use to change the American electricity to German electricity?

I also have a low profile flexfan to help at speed. It doesn't do much at idle though. And idling the fans do cycle on and off, cools Great.

I just removed the mercedes shrouding, the metal framework of the fans stayed bolted together and is how they are bolted in. Picture needs rotated 90*...

I did have to track down the rubber Ford seals to force the air to go between the condenser and radiator.

They won't cool it with the ac on at idle, but I dont really run it like that anyway.
