is this ranger worth it

I'm looking at as a parts vehicle and even for a 1000 its not a bad deal considering what u'd have to pay for a lot of those parts seperately at a scrap yard. 7-800 sounds like a fair offer. Its still arunning 4wd truck. Body parts can be replaced.

i think it would be awesome having a truck i could take offroad and not have to worry too much about the paint and body...

Parts are only worth money if they are removed from the truck.

The other thing is that selling that would require a special buyer as not everyone is going to want something with a bunch of crushed in body panels nor are they going to have the time or resources to fix it correctly like you and I could.

That in itself makes it worth a lot less. I have paid a lot less money for trucks in better shape.

I would keep looking on craigslist...... I've seen a world of rangers today that were a steal compared to that ragged out pile.
