Is this a bumper hitch?

I think the mid 90's Hilux had a 2.4 NA diesel. I can't imagine it being very speedy. I learned to drive on a 1.6 NA diesel Micra. It was extremely slow but must have done like, a million to the gallon. It made the 1.0 petrol I have now seem like a racing car.

We've got Diesel Hilux's in here in Canada. Don't know the specs on the but a friend of mine brought one in. Imported from overseas somewhere, can't remember where exactly (China or Australia maybe? I don't think it was Europe anywhere) but there's a company in Vancouver that's imports and gets them certified for you (for a comfortable fee of course).

What does petrol cost over there now. Last time I was home it was 87p a liter.

that r.h. drive interior just looks strange, nice ranger!

Yeah the Ranger was nice, but the 4 door truck config, although popular over here, is pretty useless. You can fit five people in nicely but any luggage has to go in the bed. The Explorer is much more practical for everyday stuff.

It's cool to see someone who is not from North America around here. Welcome to TRS...

FWIW, I have pulled a lot of stuff with just the bumper hitch, like a 18' boat. I also towed a double axle flatbed with a slide-in truck camper on it with my F150...not real fun but it worked. I think as long as you keep the weight down you'll be fine.

Thanks :)

I'm limited to what I can legally tow anyway so it can't be anything that will exceed this hitch.

I need to get my hands on a towball and a wiring connector thing now.

If you look in the rear panel on the left side, where the screenwasher bottle for the rear glass is, you might find the trailer wiring already there.
