is it illegal?

you can also build a cutout out of an used throttle body Ive doen that before

yeah it is kinda annoying i think ill just put my stocker back on until i get a muffler

Nothin like that here in Hillbilly Heaven(Montana) (I have the right to call it hillbilly heaven since I am a born and raised montanan and LOVE my state)

Generally seems to be true here in Wisconsin as well. Only in Madison City Limits(Super Lefty Tree Huggers) have I ever been harrassed. But thats usually in the car in my sig. :wall: In the truck I run no cat cause it rotted out and a big ass magnaflow I had layin around the garage(really loud at WOT). I can basically do anything I want. Sliding through corners at full counter lock in the snow is usually no big deal if there is no traffic. I have been stopped a couple times over this issue but they give me a warning and say, "Nice slide." Even had one say, "Really nice control." LMAO I love hillbilly midwestern states.

It's illegal in Canada, but I drove my Tempo for six months without one...just let off the gas when you go by a cruiser...

My muffler recently abandoned me in a coffee shop parking lot...but I found it and am trying to patch it back on...but have been driving without one for two weeks now...

The fine here is for *unnecessary noise* and they can force you to have a safety inspection...or just have you report within 48 hours to a local PD with the repair done...

The muffler fell off my Exploder once, shortly after I got it.

I drove it to a rehearsal right after this happened, pulled up in front of the bass trombonist, and he fell onto the sidewalk clutching his sides, he was laughing so hard.

That's the kind of reaction one gets from an RBV with no muffler. Is that really what you want?
