I run AutoFab front beams and radius rods on my 96 Ranger race truck. Been on for about 5 years. They were bending and damaged from racing in YORR series. So talked with owner John Ehmke on phone. Said he could make new beams for us in our 6 week window so we could make last race and finish season. Sent the our spare cores. Then over 6 weeks, countless emails unanswered, phone calls unanswered or go to voice mail, which is full, so can't leave message. Finally gave up on them and ran existing AutoFab beams for the last reace of the series. Broke one in half (John said he has never seen a AutoFab beam bend or break--not true, I got pics). Lost the race, and lost a good chance at the series (was 3 points into second going into this race). All in, cost me thousands. So after more emails and phone calls finally got John to agree to just send my core beams back. 2 weeks later, no beams, so finally got him on phone again. He told me AutoFab are on a shipping hold from because they have no funds to ship. What? Then he told me in colorful terms 'too bad', and hung up. So now I'm out another $400 and he still has my beams.
So not doing that again. Who else is out there that can provide beams and radius rods for my Ranger to get it back on the road, and then help with beam systems for our Class 8 and prerunner build on F250 beam systems for this winter?
