Hi from the snowy north.New member here and here is a few pictures of the Ranger I purchased from my local Mercury dealer in June 1985.From what it looked like in my 20’s to what it now looks like in my 60’s.It was in storage from September 2008 til I retired 18 months ago.As you can see I’ve done some changes to reflect my age.

dude, thats awesome that you have had that truck since new

its good you kept it though. be good to pass on to a grand kid who loves cars/trucks

Unfortunately no one to pass it onto so will just be sold when I pass.I enjoyed it when I was younger and now I’ll enjoy it again in my senior years.Forgot how easy it is to work on older vehicles and the enjoyment you get from them.

You've been a great caretaker for that truck- it'll turn some heads!

Howdy from a couple hours up the road! Really nice looking truck! You're right, it's so much more fun to work on old stuff. As long as it's not rusty. 😆

Super nice Ranger. Welcome to TRS.

Beautiful piece of history there, sir. Tastefully modified, both times.

WELCOME ABOARD!!!

That isn’t RED, is it? Did you just upgrade the cosmetics, or did you put in some goodies underneath and under the hood?

1. Personally, I don’t like to modify my trucks more than routine maintenance improvements.

2. If you buy a membership for a whopping $15, you can get rid of all the pop-up ads while supporting the cause.

3. And no matter how cool your truck is, you’re still new to TRS. You’ll have to get one of these and wear it to all events for the first year and then request an upgrade.
