Intermitten Check Engine Light

Hi everyone. Sooo my check engine light comes on and then randomly goes off a few days later. and then back on a few days after that. My exhaust flange gasket is shot and is causing an exhaust leak, but other than that i have no clue what it could be. Any ideas? Thanks for any help

Is the exhaust leak close to the O2 sensor. Pull the codes and see if it tells you anything. Check your wiring good look for bare cracked wires and fix as necessary.

Yeah, pull codes. That's the only way to know for sure.

The only code I know of that allows the light to come and go like that is a P0420, catalyst efficiency.
