i might be purchasing a set of ground hawgs, 38 x 15x15 but im gonna be running theis truck on the road and need to no if they handle decnet or vibrate and shake the whole front end? and thoughts?

i think anything above 38s you would have to suffer street ride for performance offroad. everything gets harder to balance when it gets bigger.

yea but i will still be able to find one tire thats better then another.. like boggers would be rougher then hell.. but like a normal mud tire i dont think would be all that bad?

:idiot:HAHAHAHAHA!
Honestly for as aggressive a tire they are not the worst, for noise. They are horrible on the street in rain and snow. The kind of horrible where you need to pray first( i am a spirited driver).

I drove some around for a few days--35s. They weren't horrible for the couple trips I made. I wouldn't pay that much for a soft tire like that and then street drive it. I would keep them for offroad use and use a radial MT for everyday use.

I loved those 'Hawgs offroad though. Unstoppable in the sticky, half-frozen slime at Wellsville. We swam through mud pits halfway up the door with them. I think I left on Johnny O's strap that trip after the radiator blew. Overheated a lot pulling those things through the soup with a 4.0 and only 4.10 gears.

My buddy has the 38's on his '97 Ram. There kinda noisy but other then that there pretty good on the street. And as far as mud I'm agreeing with Will.

arent ground hawgs made by denman??? at least they were when i bought my 40's.....

i didnt think that they handled too bad but then again i had the weight of a 3/4 truck too...

They are on Interco's website too. I don't know if it is a license thing or what. Same tire though.
