Yeah, the EFI 2.9s already have one stock. The intake ducting runs up in front and sticks in the grille.
Somewhere on here there is a thread with before and after dyno numbers that show his truck (4.0 Ranger) actually lost power after he put his K&N intake on. The aftermarket units don't deliver what they promise and just count on nobody ever coming back with the dyno sheet to prove it.
Their numbers are cooked with huge exhausts, chips, and another $200 in parts to seal up the air box. The 2.9 is cranked for max performance from the factory.
