This morning I went out to my 1999 Ranger and the light behind the fuel gauge was not lighting up. How do I remove the instrument cluster exactly? Is it very difficult? and how hard are the lights in the cluster to change? Also for some time the oil pressure gauge, when you start the truck will stay all the way at the bottom for about the first 5 minutes the truck is started, then it will come to life and stay in the middle like it should. There of course has been no change in the engine, still runs perfect, so do you think this is the gauge or the sending unit? Is the sending unit pretty easy to replace if that's it?....sorry several newbie questions...any help would be appreciated!!!

Well, for your oil pressure issue, I'd try the sender first. They are easy to replace and only cost about $15 new. It's certainly cheaper than your other options.
