I’m installing hubs on my ranger and the previous people that did the wheel bearing totally screwed the spindle threads and now the spindle nuts won’t go on without cross threading has this happened to anyone and if so how did you fix it. Any help will be greatly appreciated thanks I’m advance

Very careful with a threadfile and try to straighten them out and hopefully they didn't bugger the threads in the nuts.

I agree...

It's gonna be best pull it down to the spindle... get things super clean and really have a good look at things. I'm not sure of the size and pitch of the threads... but you need a thread file. Very specific tool for the job. I would probably buy a new set of spindle nuts.

Take your time...

alternate method, requires sacrificing a nut.

cut a nut to remove about 1/8".
spread it slightly so it passes over the threads without putting pressure on them.
run it all the way down to some good threads.
tighten it up, lube it, then turn it off.
it will start on good threads and hopefully straighten the bad threads.
takes a bit of finagling to get it right.

keep the thread file handy,

YMMV

i looked at my Spindel nuts and there fine also i cant afford to just go buy another set so ill just have to make due with what i got ill dig the thread file out tomorrow hopefully i can save the spindle

I keep an eye out in the JY, whenever someone yanks a axleshaft it seems they just leave the spindle laying under the truck. Easy no longer available part grab.
