Odd question I know but this is a new issue with the stand up air conditioner/heater we have, it's a heat pump I believe (scrapped the box like 5 years ago) as we've just left it hooked up in the upstairs of the house. In the heat mode in winter a fair amount of water comes out of the drain which sounds normal with high humidity. What isn't normal from our experience is all the water that is now leaking out the exhaust hose and since it's an air duct it is leaking on the floor and the table I made for it to sit on.
So, what would make water get to the outlet side? Dirty condenser? I could bring an air tank up there and blow it out, there's some dust behind the filter...
Dumb thing is we got it from Costco so they would take it back but it isn't summer time so they don't have anything to replace it with and I don't really want to go with a normal electric heater... being that they would take it back makes me hesitant on taking the shell off (has a tape seam for some reason) and really investigating.
You guys have a VERY varied background so you never know
