It's a nice thought but I think that's going to be a pretty tall order, and even if it were possible, it raises a bunch of privacy questions.

You can tell quite a bit about how much they cared about it from the condition it was in when you got it though. Some people move on because they're bored, others for financial reasons. Some just change cars every 3 years.

From what I recall from your pictures though, it looks like your truck was pretty well cared for, so there's something to be happy about.

Here on december 3rd 2026 it will be 4 years i have owned that ranger for.

It’s not worth the aggravation plus that information is highly protected with privacy laws. No public entity will release it. once the previous owner(s) sold it they were done with it and probably don’t want to hear about it again

Your state DMV may have some of that information or the state(s) that it has been registered in. Will they give it to you? That is very hard to say. You need to ask them.

TRS cannot help you with that. There are no 3rd party services that can help you with that.

I know you are curious but I am guessing that most people do not want a random guy bugging them about a truck they sold years ago. I do not want anyone I sold a vehicle to calling me (with a couple of very specific exceptions.) I had a lady come unglued on me because the battery in the truck I sold her died a week after she got it. Her boyfriend sent threatening messages to my wife. People do not want to be bugged about stuff - I am suggesting that you let it go - I know that will be hard for you but it really is the best choice for your own sake.
