A big hunk of my job is computational geometry. You'll be amazed how much of this stuff you WILL use.
Example: The flight planner has to calculate intersections of flight segments with airspace boundaries. That's the intersection of two circular segments on the surface of a sphere. Get it wrong, and we all get arrested for flying into restricted airspace (like the Nevada Test Site).
Targets move in conic sections (mostly ellipses, some hyperbolas), and tracking nonmoving targets (stars) on the surface of the earth makes for cycloidal ground tracks.

I got all my averages today
Math- 40.3%
Science- 39.4%
Social Studies- 52.0%
but im doing much better now in school, I should pass, and next year i will be improving
yea lil blue, im puttin off my truck now, even though my old friend was over lookin at it today, shes being abandoned now till exams..
