Yea pretty much I don't remeber it to well as it was 21 years ago, but I've seen the pictures of me sleeping in my 1 year old brothers play pin holding on tight and keeping guard of a rolled up blanket I apparently thought was my brother. And wouldn't let anyone touch it.

This is weird. I made a flavored water with one of those little water packets with out any problems, but I looked and it lists red dye also ??

Maybe its something else in there. I'm certain that I've only broke out in hives after drinking the white Koolaid though.

I know that I can have a certain amount of it before it effects me terribly. I mean, I can have a licorice or two before it destroys me. Same with dairy too. I can have it with milk but trying to have a glass of milk or ice cream? Nope.

I am just guessing your system can't cope with the amount of dye in the Koolaid vs the flavored water.

I hope Vanessa would step in as our leader and maintain Jim's legacy to keep the TRS family together. I guess in my heart I know she would, we are all a part of each other here.

Whoah, Thats pretty hardcore. I used to work with a guy who was allergic to any type of vegetable or fruit products from oils to seasoning. And also a girl allergic to dish soap<----don't marry that one.

Stuff in your body can change. I'm lactose intolerant (meaning I get the runs when I eat milk and cheese) but it never started until I was 26 years old. If I swallow a Lactaid pill I'm fine, but it can be a hassle.

i developed a severe allergy to shrimp and other crustaceans when i moved to TX. to this day, i blame eating gulf shrimp - used to eat fresh shrimp by the pound when I lived in FL.

Could be that grape flavoring too Jim.

Gluten is a bad one. A guy in my class is allergic to it and he cant eat anything that's not homemade.

My wife has Celiac Disease (allergic to gluten). It's not an impossible feat to go out to eat, but it is difficult. Luckily a lot of the big chains are now starting to offer a gluten free menu, most notably Outback Steakhouse. This includes menu favorites like "The Bloomin' Onion" and the "Thunder From Down Under" brownie.

Part of why you're seeing all of the Taco Bell commercials lately about their beef "recipe" is because people with Celiac Disease were getting sick at Taco Bell. Their beef contains wheat and they did not disclose it anywhere. Authentic mexican food is popular with the Celiac crowd because a lot of their recipes contain corn instead of flour.

I just took a class for work where the instructor said big companies (i.e. Nabisco) are no longer going to be able to get away with "may contain nuts" or "may contain wheat" on the nutrition labels. The companies will be required to be more specific. The little Mom and Pop shops will not be required to be as detailed.
